Naim Peress: I am a novelist with an intense interest in the Civil War. After having written my second novel about our civil conflict, I am now researching my third novel, which will be set during the Civil War as well. My interest began when I saw the Civil War film documentary by Ken Burns and it blossomed when I read James McGregor Burns's Battle Cry of Freedom. I've been into the Civil War since then.

This man is alleged to have helped Mark Rich and Puerto Rican terrorists gain pardons. Perhaps counsel for the defense would be more appropriate?
